"Wow! What a difference Mark made to my event. I thought that I could do the auctioneering for my charity dinner, dance and auction and save some money but a good friend of mine recommended Mark saying that he could make all the difference.......I was sceptical as thought I was a confident public speaker but I went with him anyway as it meant I could concentrate on other things. Thank God I did use Mark as the room suddenly came alive when he spoke, he got the whole crowd going and managed to sell every single auction item for much higher than the retail value. Marks passion for charity and people really shines through as he is able to maintain the perfect balance of having fun whilst still trying to push the chosen charity home to people; all the while managing to squeeze as much money from everyone as possible! Hi Mark, Just to say thank you so much for all your help on the day. You are a big part of our team, and the auction was fantastic. Everyone was saying how good/funny you were, and finding Paul's car keys were just perfect !! Hope you enjoyed playing with Rob, Paul and Tiger, and you didn't mind us applauding you getting out of the bunker on 18 ! We did not expect to raise nearly as much as we did, and overall it is something like £17,500. Your auctioneering skills made a major contribution to the total. Dear Mark I have waited until now before writing to you, so that I could at least roughly count what we made, and let you know. I think the total will be around £18,000, of which about £8,000 came from the two auctions. It seems very clear to us that a huge factor in achieving this sum was the enormous contribution of yourself in running the Auction. It went with a real buzz, and clearly everyone was enjoying it, whether bidding or not. You have a fantastic skill which we were lucky enough to have on our side last week. Thank you very much indeed for joining us, and for achieving such a great success at the Auction. I do hope you enjoyed the day as a whole, and enjoyed our course. Mark did an amazing job with our charity auction. I can't believe anyone can get someone to pay £100 for a pair of socks but Mark managed it. He got the whole audience interacting and spending money! I don't think we would have got half as much money raised without him. Will definitely recommend Mark. Great character and a great auctioneer.
